The original synopsis is hereby modified as shown herein: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure through full and open competitive procedures, the Shipboard Multipurpose Copier Program (SMCP) requirement. The requirement calls for the procurement of analog/digital copiers with LAN capabilities; networkable multi-functional devices (MFD) with the capacity to copy, print, fax and scan; deployable cases; and vendor support on a worldwide basis to include, maintenance, training, technical assistance, spare parts and supplies. The requirement is for use on surface and sub-surface vessels of the U.S. Navy,Military Sealift Command (MSC), afloat elements of the U.S. Fleet Marine Forces (FMF), and other deployable units of the Federal Government. This requirement will be for a base period beginning 01 Jul 1999 through 30 Sep 1999 and will contain four, one-year option periods. The placement of a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type contract is contemplated. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification code is 3861 and the size standard is 500 employees. The sol icitation will require the submission of price and technical proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
