The primary objective of this project is to develop a state-of-the-art PPMES on the Corpus Christi Army Depot's (CCAD) transmission test cells. The resulting system will ensure that breakdowns and defects are minimized, equipment operation rates are improved, life cycle costs are reduced, equipment life is extended, trouble-shooting is improved, spare and replacement parts inventory minimized, and as a consequece, labor productivity for production/mission essential equipment is increased. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Texas Engineering and Experiment Station, 332 Wisenbaker Engineering Research Center, College Station, Texas 77843-3000, as this is a follow-up effort to services begun under a competitive award.
