Military Sealift Command, Atlantic is requesting bids for the installation of an Integrated Large Screen Display System in the Command and Control Center (CCC) of their new Headquarters in building Z101, Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia. The Integrated Large Screen Display System will be located in the briefing area of the Command and Control Center. An equipment room is located at one end of the briefing area and is configured for rear-projection. This space has adequate 110/120V power available and is suitable for equipment installation. A non-load bearing wall across one end of the room currently contains a rear-projection screen which may be removed and the wall modified as necessary. The Integrated Large Screen Display System must be able to accept simultaneous input from multiple signal sources including Non-secure LAN MS Windows NT4.0, secure LAN MS Windows NT4.0, Cable and/or Satellite Television, and Video Teleconferencing. The Cable and/or Satellite Television service is to be procured and installed as part of the contract. All necessary Video Teleconferencing equipment is to be included as part of the installation and configured to be compatible with an existing "Freebon, Inc." installation installed elsewhere in the building. It must be able to display a minimum of five (5) individual, resizeable, "real-time" displays within a seamless Large Screen Display area which will be provided by the above listed sources. Military Sealift Command will provide, if current systems are compatible, all necessary PC workstations. All other equipment and integration software will be provided by the selected contractor. The contractor must also provide final system checkout, operator training, and all technical and operational documentation. A minimum one year warranty on installation, software, and all equipment is required. A maintenance contract covering normal maintenance and emergency repair and/or replacement of equipment is desired. Emergency repair response time must be guaranteed at 8 hours or less.
