The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure two Programmable Multiple Display Indicator Groups (PMDIGs) under contract N00019-94-C-0120 with Orbital Science Corporation (OSC). OSC is the designer, developer, and sole qualified manufacturer of the PMDIG unit. OSC is the only firm capable of meeting the Government's requirement in a timely and cost efficient manner. No other firm possesses the detailed knowledge of the design of the PMDIG, which is a prerequisite for providing the required supplies and services.
