The delivery schedule shall begin three months after contract award and shall complete no more than 15 months thereafter for the basic quantity. For options one and two delivery shall begin three months after exercise of options and complete no more than 15 months thereafter. Duration of the contract is from June 1999 through August 2000. Shipping is FOB Destination to Port Hueneme, Ca. These are externally expanding, ventilated, air-cooled type, nominally 19 inches outside diameter, for a friction drum inside diameter of 19.000/19.010. The overall width of the clutch element assemblies is 5-11/16. The clutch elements are rated for 25,500 in-lb torque at approximately 75 psi. Rotating inertia (WR2) is approximately 20 lb-ft2. Dimensional requirements, specific friction material to be used, and protective coatings for metallic componets are specified on NAVSEA drawing 5210300 revision D. Friction shoe assemblies and other air-clutch element assembly components are repair parts for existing in-service Eaton Airflex clutch element assemblies that were built to satisfy NAVSEA drawing 5210300. These repair parts shall be Eaton Airflex parts, or identical to Eaton Airflex parts, and they shall satisfy the requirements of the Eaton Airflex drawings as well as all of the requirements of NAVSEA drawing 5210300 revision D.
