The Government intends to purchase on a sole source, all or none, basis the following software and support items manufactured by Wind River Systems: (1) Additional PowerPC Processor Architecture for ACTS Tornado Developers License (1 each); (2) Annual support and maintenance for additional PowerPC Processor Architecture (1 year); (3) Windview for additional PowerPC Processor Architecture (1 each); (4) Annual support and maintenance for Windview (1 year); (5)Software: Zinc for PowerPC includes Zinc Des Vis Design Tool and one Zinc Target (1 each); (6) Annual support and maintenance for Zinc (1 year). The annual support and maintenance shall consist of unlimited telephone support and all updates. All of the above items must be y2k compliant. Written documentation verifying this must be provided with the vendor's quote. The requested equipment and application software will be used to support the AEGIS Combat Training Systems (ACTS) Rehost Technology Refresh at the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC). The Naval Surface Warfare Center will provide lifecycle support for the ACTS Rehost computer programs applications hosted on AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers. Lifecycle support includes maintaining, updating, delivering and installing the AEGIS computer programs. The AEGIS ACTS Rehost computer programs are utilizing the WindRiver equipment and application software. This requirement must maintain compatibility (equipment and applications) with the AEGIS fleet to ensure the ACC can support its lifecycle support engineering mission and deliver quality AEGIS computer programs to the fleet. Award is to be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All vendors shall provide written information stating they are a valid authorized WindRiver distributor. The software license and support agreements must be provided with the vendor's quote.
