The proposed contract action is for an extension of the period of contract performance currently scheduled to expire 19 June 1999 to a new contract expiration date of 19 June 2000 (365 calendar days). A competitively awarded contract is expected to commence by June 2000. Contract capacity remaining under the original contract award is approximately $10 million, which will not be exceeded by this contract extension.
