Women Owned Businesses and Small Disadvantaged Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is to replace existing baseboard radiation heating systems in 4 unit apartment type buildings. All existing radiation and piping will be removed and updated baseboard units will be installed. The new piping system will extend from the existing central building boiler plant to each unit and provide an individual zone of control for each floor of the apartment. Work includes but is not limited to hot water heating distribution pumps and piping, electrical, wall and floor cutting, patching and restoration, low voltage controls, and other work items associated with the remodeling nature of the project. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 15 Apr 99 with a bid opening date of 30 calendar days after IFB issuance.
