The proposed effort is for contractor production, engineering and repair support for the Advanced Quicklook (AQL) AN/APD-13, Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) subsystem of the Guardrail Weapon Systems Family of equipment. This shall consist of production of new equipment, repair support (forward and rear) and technical services for the ELINT sub-systems for the Guardrail Common Sensor systems (GR/CS systems 1, 2, 3 and 4). This effort contract will be a firm fixed price basis for production and a T & M basis for repair and engineering support. Examples of efforts that may be required include but are not limited to the following: Production of new hardware as required and defined by Delivery Order (D.O.), repair/calibration/maintenance of unique all required components of the AQL. In addition, the contractor shall consider modernization through spares to improve performance and reliability, eliminate problems of obsolescence and to reduce future operations and sustainment cost. The contractor shall also provide technical assistance on site as defined by DO. The contractor should also be able to provide quick reaction on site support for urgent situations regardless of geographic location.
