This requirement is for the procurement of replacement drive system components for the 4T Flexible Nozzle Control System. Equipment furnished under this procurement shall be off-the-shelf components. Components required by this procurement are 33 brushless servo motors with a nominal speed @ Pn: 4300 rpm; maximum speed: 5800 rpm; Moment of Intertia: 3.6 kgcm2; Continuous Stall Torque: 4.7 Nm. Also required are 33 programmable servo amplifiers capable of driving the supplied servo motors and shall be capable of being controlled by Compumotor 6K Universal Motion Controller. The servo motors shall include a brake and an integral feedback resolver. The servo motors must directly interface with the existing Dojen DJDM308027 speed reducer. The servo amplifiers must also have the capability to control the existing motors, Moog Model 304-105, since these motors will be used as spares. Power available for the servo amplifiers andmotors is 208 VAC, 3 Phase. If the servo amplifiers require a different power source, then a step up or step down isolation transformer(s) must be included in the procurement to handle 30 control channels.
