Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a three-phase continuous duty,
on-line, solid state 130 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for
installation at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) facility in
Gaithersburg, Maryland. The UPS shall operate in conjunction with the
NCNR's existing electrical system to provide power conditioning,
back-up and distribution for critical electrical loads associated with
scientific experiments. System shall consist of UPS module, battery
cabinets, UPS monitoring software operating on Windows 98/NT, and two
remote monitor panels. To provide for unanticipated additional
electrical loads associated with future scientific experiments, the UPS
shall be field upgradeable to 160 kVA without adding additional UPS
units or cabinets. Complete system, including UPS module and battery
cabinets, shall fit in a room 39 feet long by 15 feet wide. The UPS
System shall meet the requirements of "Specification for the Purchase
of Replacement 130 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Used to
Protect the Critical Loads Associated with the Scientific Experiments
at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) Facility (Field
Upgradeable to 160 kVA)," which shall be included in the solicitation
package. Required delivery is FOB Destination (Gaithersburg, MD) within
30 days of award date. The Government anticipates award of a
firm-fixed-price purchase order. Solicitation package will be issued on
or about 03/18/99. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which
