The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a sole source contract to Maxwell Physics International to increase the performance capabilities, characterize and map the radiation output, and increase the operational efficiency of the Decade-Quad. Maxwell Physics International, Inc. conceived, developed, designed and manufactured the Decade Quad. MPI has the necessary knowledge, expertise and resources to accomplish this effort within the timeline required and within a reasonalbe cost. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Contractors capable of offering their service must respond within 15 days of the date of this notice by submitting specific technical capability to provide this service. All responses received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
