F -- GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING SOL R6-18-99-202 DUE 051099 POC Contract Specialist (541) 465-6506 A project to perform geotechnical drilling services for the U.S. Forest Service on 18 National Forests in Oregon and Washington. This contract will be administered by the Willamette National Forest. This will be a requirements contract with no guarantee that the estimated quantities will be ordered from the Contractor. Work for the projects shall consist of providing qualified geotechnical drilling personnel and equipment, including driller and helper(s), drill rig(s), all hoses and pumps and any necessary equipment and supplies to perform core drilling, soil sampling, hollow stem augering, in site testing and borehole instrumentation services. Drilling services are to include all mobilization, moving, setting up, loading, water level and other measuring, and provide samples and core for logging at the site by the U.S. Forest Service or other Government officials. Estimated start work date is June 1, 1999. Contract performance time is one (1) year with two (2) option years. See Notes 1 & 3.
