INDUSTRY FORUM FOR A-76 STUDY FOR TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR NAVY PUBLIC WORKS CENTER SAN DIEGO, CA The Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (SOUTHWESTNAVFACENGCOM), Contracts Department, is hereby soliciting interested Industry representatives to participate in an Industry Forum scheduled for 30 March 1999, from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Harbor Lounge at the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center, Building A3, Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Center, Gate 1, North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA, 92133. The intent of the Industry Forum is to receive Industry input on common business practices for transportation related services, contract structure, benchmarking and perceived impediments to a successful A-76 competition. Government representatives are currently scheduled to provide briefings on the following tentative topics: (1) Competitive Sourcing (A-76) Overview (2) Naval Public Works Center San Diego Transportation Department Overview (3) Performance Work Statement (PWS) Overview (4) Contracting Methodology (5) Question/Answer Session.
