and continuously upgrade the TASC computer training center, making it
a State-of-the Art computer center which will be maintained via remote
access from USM-DBC. This will reduce the present expenses associated
with maintaining the computer center; Provide access to the USM-DBC's
regional training facilities to accommodate employees'learning needs in
nearby regional installations; thereby eliminating their need to travel
downtown Washington, DC, for training but rather providing alternative
training locations nearer to employee's homes; Provide academic
offering to employees in both undergraduate and graduate programs for
multiple disciplines and multiple formats including day-time, evening
classroom and distance learning; Provide Continuing Education Units for
both desktop computer training and professional development training;
Provide access to interative satellite networks enabling training
offerings via video conferencing, interactive video networks and
web-based training for employees in various DOT regional/field
installations; Provide TASC with trained professionals on a
case-by-case basis in a variety of professions to augment present staff
capabilities; Market TASC/USM-DBC training services and capabilities.

Business Concerns, including Small Disadvantaged Businesses and
Woman-Owned Businesses, in this partnership. It is DOT/TASC's intend to
solicit and negotiate with USM-DBC for the services and supplies
described above. Interested persons may identify their interest and
