Air Combat Command (ACC) Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Request for Proposals for Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Fixed Mooring System Site Modifications. This effort will involve modification of existing fixed mooring system sites to a configuration that will support 420K aerostat/L-88 radar operations. The contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a guarantee of one site and potential for six sites total. This solicitation is a full and open competition. The SIC code is 3441, with a size standard 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price supply contract. The anticipated release date for the RFP is 2 APR 99, with a due date of 5 May 99. The RFP will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System website at http://www.eps.gov.
