The Contractor Logistics Support Contract (CLS) for the T-3A aircraft will be extended for a period of one fiscal year (01 Oct 99 to 30 Sep 00) due to a major modification to the aircraft's fuel delivery system. A one- year extension will enable the Government to complete the fuel modifications, evaluate changes to operational and maintenance procedures, and collect flight performance data. The requirement will be sole source to the incumbent contractor, Slingsby Aviation LTD. The overall objective of the T-3A CLS contract is to provide Flight Screening aircraft maintenance/supply support by operating and maintaining a Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) at each designated Main Operating Base (MOB). Currently, the T-3A is stationed at the Hondo Municipal Airport in Hondo, Texas and the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The CLS Logistics Support Contract (LSC) shall provide at each COMBS a range and depth of spares, both repairable and expendable, and a quantity of support equipment as necessary to support the assigned EFS aircraft at each MOB. The approximate issue/response date will be 24 MAR 1999. The anticipated award date will be 30 SEP 1999. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation.
