Item 0001, Teardown and Inspection Analysis, NSN 1680-01-267-2746 Actuator, P/N R1473M1, 9 each, applicable to B-1B. Contractor shall furnish all plant facilities, labor, equipment, parts and expertise required to perform necessary repair, calibration, and functional tests required to restore furnished reparable to a serviceable condition so as to accomplish its intended purpose. All repairs shall be IAW manufacture's specifications. The reparable items will be input by the Government within 30 days after Contractor's receipt of the Order. Contractor's proposal for repair shall be submitted within 30 days after receipt of Order or reparable, whichever is later, to the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). Repair effort/delivery shall be completed 30 days after receipt of funded modification. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
