Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to procure MK 78 Mod 1 Suspension Band Assemblies in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 5349688 Rev G and associated drawings. The solicitation is currently anticipated to include a base quantity of 580 sets. Four one-year option periods will also be included during which additional sets may be ordered based upon two stepladder quantities of 303 sets. Over five years up to 5,324 sets may be ordered. A first article consisting of four sets will be required unless a waiver is granted. Production Lot Test Samples will be selected by a DCMC Representative at a rate of 1 set per 101 set production lot. An Inspection System Program Plan will be required within 30 days after date of contract award. Delivery of first article units is desired within 120 days after acceptance of the Inspection Plan. Delivery of the production lot test samples is desired within 120 days after first article acceptance. Delivery of production lot is within 60 days after acceptance of the production lot test samples. Initial inspection shall be at source with final inspection and acceptance at destination, which is Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport. FOB: Keyport, WA. Award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government considering price and past performance. In order to be eligible for award, offerors are required to have an ISO 9001 compliant quality program. This acquisition will be made using FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A firm-fixed price supply type contract is anticipated. The procurement is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
