Class 2 -- For classes B and C type fires. (potassium bicarbonate) Size 2-1/2 -- 2-1/2 pounds (minimum UL 711 rating 10B:C) Vehicle mounting bracket shall be included. EXCEPTIONS TO THE CID: Page 1, paragraph 3.1, General, Delete the fourth sentence and substitute the following: "The type I and II extinguishers shall be constructed to be refilled and reused." DATA SUBMISSION: The material safety data sheet (MSDS) shall be submitted in accordance with the latest revision of Federal Standard No. 313. PACKAGING: Each fire extinguisher shall be packaged in a paperboard or fiberboard box. PACKING: Six (6) fire extinguishers, packaged as specified, shall be packed in a close-fitting corrugated fiberboard box, minimum burst strength 125 psi (minimum edge crush strength 23 lb per inch width). The pack shall be in compliance with the applicable freight regulations. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OVERSEAS SHIPMENTS: In addition to other requirements, the commodity shall be packaged, packed, and marked in a manner to meet the applicable requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (title 49, Code of Federal Regulations) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, latest revision for overseas shipments.
