Potential sources are sought for the maintenance and repair tohe Commercial Interior Intrusion Detection System (CIIDS), Security Alarm Systems at approximately 37 facilities at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. This support will be from contract award (approximately 1 Apr 99) through 30 Sep 99 and 2, one year options for the periods 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 2000, and 1 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001. Potential sources shall be required to meet the following qualifications: 1) Minimum two years experience with microprocessor based IDS system (not just the company, but any technician who responds to the site). 2) Respondents must be able to obtain Advantor Certification for field equipment installation and repair. Advantor would require that the company and each individual sign a confidentiality agreement that the information is for use only at Hanscom AFB. 3) Require re-certification every 2 years. 4) Require written documentation for all service call actions, programming changes and equipment modification, to include updating the graphic map. Potential sources shall perform maintenance and repair to the SAS system and components installed in the facilities at Hanscom AFB and shall respond within 6 hours to an emergency request for service representing non-availability of security coverage. Potential sources shall also be responsible to supply all parts and labor not covered under the Advantor warranty and use only skilled tradesman certified for the Advantor NT Windows Plus Systems and all associated alarm devices. The tradesman shall also have a National Agency Check (NAC). This sources sought does not constitute a request for quote and is not considered to be a commitment by the Government.
