This is a modification to combined synopsis/solicitation number N00173-99-R-JR03 issued 08 March 1999, for the acquisition of a commercially available Cryogenic Probe System for the measurement of semiconductor, superconductor, and other devices at low temperatures. The following sections of the specifications are revised: 2.1.5. A temperature controller, with IEEE interface bus, and suitable temperature sensors, for the full operating range shall be provided. The resulting system stability shall be plus or minus 0.2 K over the temperature range. 2.4.1. A stereo microscope shall be included which permits the viewing of the working space with the resolution required of typical dc and microwave probing systems. In particular features of 5 microns size must be visible. All other requirements of this synopsis/solicitation remain the same as previously advertised.
