goldsmiths@oh-arng.ngb.army.mil. The Ohio National Guard requires
subsistence (food) for Army National Guard units located throughout the
State of Ohio (Prime Vendor Subsistence Program). This Represents
approximately 9,000 individuals. A Request for Proposal will be the
method used to receive quotes from potential suppliers. The Government
reserves the right to award without discussions. The Government's
"World-Wide Menu" and associated recipes will be evaluated of potential
suppliers based on a delivered price per meal. The period to be covered
is 1 June 1999 through 30 September 1999 with four (4) option years.
First consideration will be given to suppliers that quote all meal
prices. The vendor will be expected to support their meal prices for
the ordered meal including any discounts and quantity breaks. Another
factor to be evaluated will be the ability to provide requirements,
including produce, dry goods, dairy products, bakery items, condiments
and ice in the same delivery. The FSC is 8900 and the SIC Code is
5149. This will be a Fixed Price Economic Price Adjustment contract.
Competition for this requirement is 100% small businesses. The range
for this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 per year. The
Request for Proposal will be available on or after 15 March 1999.
