Front design unit with rear maintenance access. Sign will incorporate existing FISC heading at the top of the board. Unit should include three-line system capability with one line at 28 inches high, two lines at 13-1/2 inches high, and three lines at 7 inches high. Illumination should be provided by low voltage, long-life wedge base lamps or an equivalent. Power requirements include a minimum of 208/230 volts, 3 wire, 26 amps. All LED pixels should consist of ultrabright LEDs mounted directly to a PC display board and feature on-board driver electronics with no need for external driver boards or magnifying lenses. To include an infrared (IR) message loader or cell phone, or automatic programming using AlphaNet Plus or Time-O-Matic for Windows, or similar software; capability to download files to the sign with the push of a button, with no connecting cable; operating range of 5 to 50 feet; three message file group storage with a minimum of 10,000 bytes each; and message file development using standard desktop software. Contractor provided installation and two-day factory technician for hook-up and training of FISC employees will be required.
