The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for engineering and technical services to support the research activities of the Hydraulics Laboratory located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, VA. Work anticipated under the contract shall include research and analytical studies, laboratory testing, design and fabrication of experimental set-ups, instrumentation development and evaluation, numerical model development, and user support and applications to develop guidelines and design criteria for highway drainage structures. FHWA anticipates the award of a contract having a 24 month base period of performance with 3- one year Government options. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100 PERCENT SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS PURSUANT TO S.I.C. CODE 8731. This solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov under the "EPS for Vendors" option followed by selection of the "DOT" Center.
