Construction Inspection shall include Professional and On-Site Services. Project performance period shall be approximately 30 months. Professional Service shall include participation in partnering, technical review of shop drawings, attendance at the bi-weekly progress meeting including development of meeting minutes. Respond to requests for information generated by the Contracting Officer or the Contractor, provide interpretation to Contracting Officer on issues or disputes that arise from the construction project, provide interpretation of construction documents and develop as-built drawings. On-site inspection services include inspection of work in progress, observe, monitor, and document on-site testing procedures performed by the contractor, provide daily inspection reports to the Contracting Officer, evaluate contractors progress and conformance to construction documents, and report any deficiencies in material or workmanship to the Contracting Officer. Coordinate on-site inspections and required reports by subconsultants, participate in substantial and final completion inspection with the Government and subconsultants, monitor and verify corrections performed by the contractor as a result of inspections. These services represent generally the expected performance of the Architect for this project and are not intended to be exclusive of other services negotiated by the Government. The total estimated construction cost for the project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Receipt must be not later than close of business (COB) 30 days from the date of this publication to be considered for selection.
