The United States Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff, intends to issue a Request for Proposals for Computer-Assisted Legal Research for the Department of Justice (DoJ). Services to be provided by the contractor will include: computerized access to complete legal and related information databases; full-text search and retrieval capability within individual databases and across databases; LAN-capable, Internet, and standalone telecommunications access; and related support services. The Government anticipates that the total of the base and option periods of the resulting contract will be seven (7) years. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 10, 1999.
