The term of this contract will include a base year plus four (4) option years that may be exercised. This is a non-personal services contract for two (2) full-time phlebotomist to work staggered 8-hour tours of duty (8:30 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m. Monday -- Friday excluding Federal Holidays) to provide treatment to eligible veterans and other eligible beneficiaries. The 8.5 hour tour of duty includes an uncompensated .5 hour lunch break. The routine workload is scheduled by the treatment facility. Primary workload is related to the provision of medical care by staff health care providers through written or verbal orders. The secondary workload is the result of consultation requests submitted to the Laboratory by government staff practitioners. Tours of duty are subject tochange based on workload requirements.
