The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service will be negotiating exclusively with the Osteoporosis Diagnostic Center, 801 Encino Place N. E., Suite C-8, Albuquerque. New Mexico 87102. Osteoporosis Diagnostic Center will be providing services via mobile unit. Approximately 10-20 Native American Women who are referred will be seen in one day. Services will involve providing bone densitometry services as well as osteoporosis screening, using state of the art DEXA scanning equipment. Service area includes selected Indian Hospitals and Health Centers/Clinics of the Albuquerque Area and Navajo Area Indian Health Service. Contract Award No. 242-99-0037 will be awarded for a base year with four, one-year options for renewal and will be awarded as a requirements type contract.
