COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 17,1999 PSA#2304HIGH CARBON FERROCHROMIUM AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT SHARONVILLE, OH 1. The
Defense National Stockpile Center (DNSC) announces the availability
for sampling of the High Carbon Ferrochromium stored at its
Sharonville, OH depot. DNSC plans to offer that material for sale in
the fourth quarter of FY 1999. 2. Sampling will be permitted as
follows: 3. Offerors may at their expense, inspect the High Carbon
Ferrochromium at the storage location and take a grab sample, not to
exceed 50 pounds per pile. The Government does not warrant any samples
of the item to be representative of the entire pile. 4. Requests for
appointment to inspect/sample the material must be made in writing to
Mr. William Fritz (DNSC-MO), Defense National Stockpile Center, 8725
John J. Kingman Road, Suite 4616, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6223,telephone
(703) 767-7611. Requests for appointment must be made in writing at
least five (5) working days prior to the date of the requested
inspection/sampling. Requests shall include the name and title of each
individual wishing to inspect/sample the material. The Government
reserves the right to limit the number of individuals seeking access to
the depot. Offerors will be notified by telephone of the date the
material will be available for inspection. 5. The hours of operation
for the storage location are Monday 1200 -- 1500, Tuesday-Thursday
