The American Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia requires the operation and management of local guard services in order to prevent unauthorised access, protect life, maintain order, detect criminal attacks against employees, dependants and property and terrorist acts against all US assets, and prevent damage to Government property. The contract will cover the Chancery compound as well as offsite offices and residences. The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labour personnel to accomplish all work as required in the contract. It is our understanding, based on Slovene law as issued in Government Newspaper Uradni list URL 32/94, that it may take several years to obtain the required licenses and permits. Interested parties are requested to verify this information. The estimated number of hours for all guard categories is 57,044 per year. Contract period is for one year with four, one-year options to renew. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
