Lee, patricia.d.lee@nao02.usace.army.mil. The project consists of dredging portions of the Wormley Creek Channel and turning basin to a depth of 5 feet MLLW (NOS)with two feet of allowable overdepth. The work shall be performed by a bucket or clamshell dredge with all dredged material transported by bottom dumping barges or scows and placed in the designated Government-furnished overboard Wolf Trap Alternate Placement Area only. The Schedule I -- Base Bid, Item No. 0001 includes all mobilization and demobilization; Item No. 0002 work involves dredging approximately 21,000 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth dredging and estimated accretion. The solicitation also includes Schedule II -- Optional Bid Items. Item No. 0003 extends the turning basin by 225 feet wide and 100 feet long and involves dredging approximately 3,400 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth dredging and estimated accretion. Item No. 0004 extends the turning basin by 50 feet wide and 400 feet long and involves dredging approximately 3,700 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth dredging and estimated accretion. Magnitude of the project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Duration of the project is 80 calendar days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC 1629 applies.
