The work consists of clearing and grubbing; removal of structures; excavation and embankment; drainage excavation, sediment control, crushed aggregate, hot bituminous plant mix, concrete, guardrail, barbed-wire fence, machine-placed riprap, traffic markings, and seeding and mulching. The project is located on the Ironton Ranger District in Lawrence County, Ohio. The contract time is 75 calendar days with work beginning in mid-July. The construction cost estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contract will be awarded under the Small Business Demonstration Project.
