Correction: The following information supplements information originally publicized in the March 10, 1999 Commerce Business Daily ad for the solicitation for any proposal to: Design, Construct & Lease; or Design, Construct & Sell; or Design, Construct, Ground Lease & Sell Improvements; or any combination of the above so long as you provide a design and construction the improvements and the Postal Service has use of the land and improvements by purchase or leasing for 90,000 SF Intermodal Facility (cross-dock mail facility) that can satisfy the following Southwest Area Operational Requirements no later than 02/02/2000. The site location for the 90,000 gross square feet Intermodal facility must be capable of handling the following types of Aircraft: 727-200, 727-100, up to DC-8 Stretch during business hours and DC-10 or L1011 during peak periods. The site location must be located near a major railhead/yard. Primary evaluation criteria in descending order of preference: (1) Site location; (2) Schedule for providing completed operational Intermodal facility; (3) Method of handling, if required, aircraft de-icing and relative location of where de-icing accomplished relative to site; (4) Past demonstrated quality control and delivery performance standard of fast-tract Design/Build entity; and (5) Past demonstrated performance of Offeror on similar project requirements for the last five (5) years, if applicable.
