This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All information required for submission of an offer is included in this solicitation. We do not issue receipts for offers. The Solicitation number is FA4416-99-0292. Offerors must comply with all instructions in FAR 52.212-1 with submittal of their offer and provide all information. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The Standards Industrial Classification Number is 7349 and the Business Size Standard is $12.0 million. The proposed contract action here is a small business set aside. Performance of the contract will be at the Military Family Housing at Landover, MD. All offers must be receivedby 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on 31 Mar 99. Delivery and finance addresses will be provided upon award. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial items", FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items", FAR 52.228, "Insurance -- Work on a Government Installation". Contract award will be based upon Price and Past Performance. DESCRIPTION: Furnish all labor equipment, tools, transportation, and personnel necessary to power wash 98 Townhouses, 51 Duplexes, 39 Apartment Buildings, the Maintainence building and Community Center at Military Family Housing in Landover, MD. There are 190 buildings with an estimated 826,000 square footage. It is highly recommended that interested contractors attend the site visit which is scheduled at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard time on 23 Mar 99.
