The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the installation of the fire suppression system in an approximately 67,000 SF aircraft hangar. Work shall include the replacement of the existing Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) suppression system including piping, sprinkler heads and other equipment and construction of a new approximately 260 SF concrete masonry unit AFFF riser room. The project also includes electrical work including a fire detection and alarm system. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1799. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The contract performance period is 210 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $1 million and $5 million.
