The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the installation of a standing seam metal roof over the existing built-up roof on the Dover Air Force Base Middle School/Welsh Elementary School. The work shall include the installation of glass fiber batt insulation, permanent fall protection anchors, metal service walkways, gutters and downspouts, underground drainage facilities, and demolition and removal of existing masonry parapet walls, and removal and/or relocation of existing mechanical and electrical equipment. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1761. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The contract performance period is 210 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $1 million and $5 million.
