The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for MK 112 Mod 1 RAM Rocket Motors, MK 764 Mod 0 Rocket Motor containers, and spares in support of the Rolling Airframe Missile program. The solicitation will include a base year (FY99) requirement for ninety five (95) rocket motors with containers, fifteen (15) spare rocket motors with containers and an option year (FY00) requirement for ninety (90) rocket motors with containers, and eleven (11) spare rocket motors with containers. Solicitation N00024-99-R-5470 will be issued to Atlantic Research Corporation, P.O. Box 1036, Camden, Arkansas 71711 and Alliant Techsystems P.O. Box 210, State Route 956, Rocket Center, West Virginia 26726 since they are the only qualified MK 112 Mod 1 producers of the aforementioned equipment that can meet the Navy's required delivery schedule. The solicitation will be posted on the INTERNET on or about 23 April 1999. To access the solicitation, use one of the following methods. Due to the fact that there are aperture cards for the MK 764 Mod 0 Rocket Motor Container baseline listing that cannot be transmitted electronically, offerors are advised that they must notify the POC either electronically or at the mailing address listed herein to request the aperture cards. The aperture cards will be mailed the same day the solicitation is posted on the NAVSEA Contracts Web Page.
