The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for Simulation/Stimulation Engineering and Technical Services. Programs to be supported include CCS MK1, CCS MK2, AN/BSY-1, AN/BSY-2, TRIDENT, and NSSN. Tasks will include software and hardware engineering, preparation of software development plans, configuration and risk management, software analysis, code and unit testing, investigation and resolution of simulation/stimulation software program trouble reports and trainer casualty reports, and review of ECPs. A 60-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract is planned. Estimated level of effort is 129,700 hours. Key labor categories include Principal Engineer (6000 hours), Software Engineer III (10,000 hours), and Systems Engineer III (7,000 hours). Best value award methodology will be employed with evaluation factors including Technical Capability (Personnel, Past Performance, Technical Approach, and Management Approach) and Cost.
