The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to solicit for a build-to-performance specification contract for the manufacture of 16 CM (6.25 Inch) submarine countermeasures. This will be a full and open competition. The base year requirements include a step-ladder quantity of 50-200 Acoustic Device (ADC) Launcher Assemblies and a total of up to 1,900 additional ADC Launcher Assemblies over a four year period is anticipated. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is scheduled for release on or about April 2, 1999.
