The aft thermocouple lead provides low voltage wiring between the engine thermo- couple harness and the forward thermocouple lead. The aft thermocouple lead is enclosed in swaggedd stainless steel tubes with magnesium oxide insulation and measures 11.5 feet in length by 1/4 inch diameter (dia) with a 3 inch length by 1 inch dia connector on one end and a 3/4 inch dia connector on the other end. Required delivery date is 31 JUL 99. Approved Sources: General Electric 07482, and Ametek 97424. Drawing is source controlled and item is considered critical because fail-ure can lead to catastrophic engine failure or premature re- moval of a healthy engine. Therefore only approved sources may be considered for award.
