The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for scientific, engineering, technical, and analytical support (SETA) for a wide range of NRL research activities. More specifically, the research will be in the following areas: voice/data integration speech processing in radar networks; management, use and application of high performance networks; organization, management and application of high performance computing systems including massively parallel processors; development and management of information and entities in distributed simulation systems; development and integration of decision support systems; sensor systems and their operation for robotics; development of secure information systems including multi-level secure databases; development in parallel processing applications; development of virtual environments; development in communication systems, development of software engineering methods; development of audio/visual materials and aids; development and maintenance of computational facilities; development in transmission technology; development in the area of visual programming for signal processing and command and control applications. The government anticipates award of a cost plus fixed fee term form contract. The anticipated period of performance is a basic award of 12 months with 4 twelve month option periods. The anticipated level of effort is 90,650 per 12 month period. This is a follow on to NRL Contract N00014-95-D-2019 which was awarded to Kaman Sciences Corporation. Numbered Note 26 applies.
