A single A/E contract will be awarded to one (1) A/E for all four (4) projects. Scope of work: (A) Project #527-00-102Z- Adult Day Care Center (ADCC) will require all necessary architect/engineering services such as functionality, space planning, ADA compliance for the relocation of the (ADCC) to a new space. (B) Project #527-99-101 -- Steam Condensate Repairs shall include steam trap replacement, replacing condensate lines, replace leaking steam coils, replacing flash tanks, replacing condensate vacuum return assemblies, etc., and re-insulation of pipes. (C) Project #517-99-103Z -- Electric feeder replacement includes installing a new secondary electric feed from the existing electric switch gear to the laundry plant and installing a new secondary electric feed from existing electric switch gear to radiology service in bldg. 89. (D) Project #527-99-106Z -- Roof replacement bldg. 65 & 89 includes replacing the entire roof system on building #89 and #65. Firm to provide services of a C.I.H. to survey area and determine if any asbestos will be encountered during construction of all four (4) projects. prepare detailed cost estimate including any impact cost; field survey existing space & utility lines to verify "as-built" drawings. Wall work shall be designed according to the VA specifications and requirements. A/E construction period services during construction and site inspection are required for this project. Area of considered is restricted to firms located within a 50 mile radius of VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY. Estimated construction range for the four (4) projects is between $100,000 and $250,000.
