This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is being processed in accordance with FAR 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be provided. A written solicitation will not be issued and any requests for a solicitation package will not be acknowledged. This synopsis will serve as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) PBGC-99-RQ-0001 which seeks written quotations for the type of maintenance outlined herein. Quotations will be accepted until 3:00pm. EST on March 25, 1999. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This acquisition will be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Quotations received in response to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the Government. The contractor shall provide DataDirect Connect Oracle OLE DB Data Provider with unlimited usage and Platform coverage for Windows NT and Windows 95. The contractor shall provide DataDirect SupportNet Annual Support and coverage for the DataDirect Connect. The contractor shall provide DataDirect Connect Oracle Drivers Extension with unlimited and simultaneous usage. Platform coverage for Windows NT, Windows 95, and DOS. The contractor shall provide DataDirect Connect Paradox Drivers -- 100 user limit. The contractor shall provide DataDirect SupportNet Annual Support which provides free upgrades to the software and e-mail and phone support Monday -- Friday from 8:30am -- 8:00pm east coast time excluding contractor identified holidays..
