Michael Dodd, SEA 02522, (703) 602-8000 Ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions for a period of up to three years under a new Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-99-G-5213 with Litton-Sperry Marine, Inc. of 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Orders will be issued for repair parts and repair, alterations, field changes, overhaul, refurbishment, and maintenance for the AN/BPS-16(V) Radar System. Major components within the radar system the Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) and Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS). Litton-Sperry Marine is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the sole producer of the AN/BPS-16(V) Radar System. Therefore, no other firm possesses the technical expertise required to perform the work that will be required by the Government. This BOA will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
