Description of Work: Prepare ship for de-commissioning. Provide temportary services to include firmain, LP air and portapotties. Removal and disposal of approximately a total of 7000 gallons of fryguel, gear oil and hydraulic oil. Remove and store approximately 600 gallowns of AFFF. Remove from ship: reefers, ships gyro'scontrollers, MK 36 SRBOC Launching System, AN/SLQ-32V1 Counter Measers Set, AN/ULQ-16V2 and AN/SLA-10B Radar. Install embarkation ladder. Weld systems, main deck and below and 01 level and above. Remove and stow ship's upper mast section. Hydro blast and clean CHT tank and CHT drain system. Install blanks on the stack and various foundations. Manufacture and install rudder and shaft locking devieces. Blank numerous sea valves and ballast ship and tow to Suisun Bay California. Ballast plan includes stripping and cleaning of six fuel tanks. Install flooding alarms and portable navigation lights for towing ship. Contractors who currently hold, or are qualified for and willing to enter into an Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship Repair Agreement DFAR (217.71) prior to award, may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. firms which do not, possess an Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship Repair Agreement are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of their MSR application to execute the ABR/MSRA without impacting the vessel's availability dates.
