COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, COMPUTERS, AND INTELLIGENCE (BMC4I)
INDUSTRY DAYS The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) Battle
Management, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and
Intelligence (BMC4I) Technology Planning Team (TPT) will conduct
Industry Days Wednesday, 14 APR 1999, from 0900-1200 Hours, at the
MITRE Corporation, M-Building, 202 Burlington Rd., Bedford, MA. 01730
and on Thursday, 22 APR 1999, at US NAVY SSCSD, San Diego, CA. The
purpose of these Industry Days is to 1) present the BMDO C4I Technology
Needs, 2) invite participation in the development of technology
programs to address these needs for FY02-FY06, and 3) provide
administrative, schedule, and Technology Program Description Format
information. Technology Program Descriptions must be submitted before
21 May 1999 to participate in the process for this year's update of the
Technology Master Plan. Attendance at an Industry Day is not a
prerequisite to submittal of a Technology Program Description for a
proposed new program or the extension of an ongoing program. Attendance
at an Industry Day,however, will provide a valuable opportunity for
questions and answers. A web site will be maintained at
http://cafspo.hanscom.af.mil (note the corrected URL, http replacing
https, provided in earlier announcements) that will provide more
detailed information and material to be presented during the Industry
Days, as it becomes available. The web site will be updated as
appropriate to provide new and modified information relative to the
BMDO BMC4I TPT Technology Program Development process and these
Industry Days. This web site will also have the Technology Program
Description format, BMC4I Needs list, and submission requirements
available for organizations unable to attend either Industry Day.
Seating is limited. Request a maximum of two (2) representatives per
organization or major company division attend either Industry Day.
Badging and sign-in will begin at 0830 hours and the briefings will
begin at 0900 hours for both Industry Days. The briefings and
discussions will be conducted at the SECRET-US ONLY classification
level. Request attendees register for these Industry Days by E-mail to
sheab@hanscom.af.mil, providing Name, Company/Organization
affiliation, Address, Telephone number and E-mail address. Visit
Requests for the Bedford meeting must be addressed to Lt. Col. Steven
Kupecz, ESC/ACP, 50 Griffiss St., Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-1625 and faxed

271-8307) or Mr. Ken Kronlund(voice (781) 271-4625). Visit requests
must be received not later than 31 March for the Bedford, MA, and not
later than 16 April for the San Diego, CA, Industry Days.
