56 -- BUILDING TRADES MATERIAL The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Regional Contracts Department, is hereby soliciting interested Industry representatives to participate in a Risk Assessment Workshop scheduled for 07 April 1999. The time and location is from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi Texas, Supply Department, 9035 Ocean Drive, Building 10, 2nd floor Conference Room. This workshop will afford all interested parties an opportunity to participate in the advance acquisition planning for the proposed Building Trades Material Contract. A contractor who is awarded the proposed contract must be able to provide all materials available for sale either to the General Public and/or to the Government under contractor-owned facilities. This workshop event will be an excellent opportunity for your input regarding program risks, evaluation criteria, contract type, contract clauses, delivery requirement, ordering process, and the overall program execution. Industry and Government representatives from NAS Corpus Christi, NAS Kingsville and other DoD activities will participate, including the FISC-San Diego Contracting Officer.
