The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a solicitation for C-20H (Gulfstream IV) initial and refresher pilot/flight engineer training. The requirement is for initial academic and simulator training and refresher academic and simulator training. Offeror shall provide an FAA Certified Class C or better, Gulfstream IV commercial cockpit configured flight simulator. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract commencing approximately 1 Oct 1999 for a basic year plus four option years. Solicitation issue date is on or about 1 Apr 1999 with a closing date on or about 3 May 1999. This acquisition is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. The contract specialist will request wage determinations if the offeror does not have FAA certified courses and instructors, if asked to do so in writing by 23 Mar 1999. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8299 with the Small Business size standard at $18.5M.
