Work will consist of waterfowl impoundment construction, road construction and maintenance, clearing forest openings for wildlife, clearing of fire lanes for control burning, reforestation, agricultural plantings (food pilots), various forestry activities, disposal area maintenance, levee construction and maintenance, and federally maintained and flood control projects. All work is to be done on corps land and all pools of the waterway are included in this contract. Bid documents are available on or about April 6, 1999. Estimated cost of work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor.
